Details

P-phenylenediamine, also known as ursol D, is one of the simplest aromatic diamine, pure product for white to purple red crystal exposure purplish red or deep brown color in the air. Slightly soluble in cold water, soluble in ethanol, ether, chloroform and benzene.

Usage:

It is one of the simplest aromatic diamines and is a widely used intermediate that can be used to produce azo dyes, high molecular polymers, and also for the production of fur Colorants, rubber antioxidants and photo developers, and p-phenylenediamine is also commonly used to test iron and copper sensitive reagents. Phenylenediamine is a very important dye intermediates, mainly used for aramid, azo dyes, sulfur dyes, acid dyes and so on.
